When a professional cake baker makes a wedding cake, the price, of course, rises with the number of people the cake has to feed. The price also goes up with the kinds of decorations used for the cake. If the bride has her heart set on a very elaborate cake can save money this way. Another idea that many brides use is to have simple wedding cakes for each person invited to the reception. What could be more fun than having each guest have his own little wedding cake decorated and perfect? Simple wedding cakes have many uses. They can provide much needed elegance, save money, or become special favors. Whatever the reason, simple wedding cakes are here to stay as a reception staple.
